HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY ROOF BE WASHED? HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT LAST?
A full soft wash is usually only needed every 3-5 years.
However, the key is in the maintenance and that’s where our post treatment comes in.
We recommend a quick inspection along with a maintenance application every 2-5 years in order to prevents moss, mold and algae from coming back.
The exact frequency of your roofs maintenance depends on your home/businesses surrounding environment.
We can spot treat reoccurring growth and with Occasional checkups and light maintenance, you can go years between full cleanings. That is, if you need and 2nd at all!

WILL ROOF CLEANING EFFECT MY ENERGY COSTS?
Roof washing can improve energy efficiency. A clean roof may better reflect sunlight reducing heat absorption. and potentially lowering cooling costs. However, As temperatures and energy costs rise. Perhaps a highly solar reflective, Antimicrobial roof coating may be what you’re really looking for.
WILL THE CHEMICALS HARM MY PETS, PLANTS, OR SIDING?

- Eco friendly alternatives available: We offer oxygenated bleach sodium percarbonate or sodium bicarbonate for a more green plant safe clean.
When using sodium Hypoclorite we:
- Pre-wet: We thoroughly soaked surrounding plants and trees before applying any solution, creating a protective barrier.
- Covering where needed: We use breathable covers to shield sensitive plants from overspray when necessary.
- Consistent ground Rinsing. A dedicated ground rinse keeps soil and root systems hydrated during the Wash.
- Precise chemical handling: every mix is measured carefully for the most accurate potency needed for effective safe results. Additionally, we have invested in specialized equipment to minimize overspray and run off.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOFT WASHING AND PRESSURE WASHING
CONTROLLED PRESSURE WASHING – Uses carefully regulated pressure to physically remove stubborn, dirt, buildup, and surface contaminants, restoring the roof’s visible appearance.
SOFT WASHING – Uses low pressure and cleaning solutions to treat organic growth. The treated growth is then left to gradually weather and rinse away over time.
Treatment address the growth, Controlled pressure washing removes the buildup.
DOES ROOF WASHING DAMAGE THE SHINGLES OR TILES?
